ISMS Volunteer Info
The ISMS is in need of volunteers to help us prepare for the 2010 Soul Music Summit Aug 19th - 22nd in Atlanta, GA. The ISMS works like a well oiled machine, each doing his/her job and all depending upon the work of the others. ISMS offers many opportunities for volunteers from setting up live events, to stuffing bags, to manning registration or a help desks and much more. We are signing on experienced and non-experienced volunteers, you can help prior to or during the ISMS or both. We host 5000 attendees from all over the world at the largest event of its kind in the U.S.
There are a few different types of ISMS volunteer teams, volunteers must apply for one or the other type of teams. Each type requires a substantial time commitment, so we do not allow you to work both. ISMS volunteer teams operate throughout the 3 days of the summit. ISMS volunteers must be able to work at least 5 hours a day during the summit. Depending on the amount of time they work, Conference Volunteers are eligible for all summit events.

Panel Monitor
Internet Marketing
Greeters and Spotters
Information Assistant
Event set-up teams
Security
Volunteer Requirements
All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Volunteers are requested to present a professional appearance.
A professional demeanor is required.
All volunteers will receive a ISMS badge which must be worn while on duty.
Volunteers will be expected to report to the ISMS volunteer coordinator.
